Yes, you are right, the motorized punch generates a different rotation. However, she can with good hands have good results.
On several types of skin and various criteria. The results are there to demonstrate that, with a manual punch, healing is optimal and reduces the number of transections.
The use of a manual punch requires real knowledge, acquired with experience. So more expensive.
If more than one procedure is needed, the donor area is usually better with the manual.
Everyone has these preferences and they respect each other according to the specific issues of each one.

It takes a good Dr. who masters. It costs more but is beneficial in the long run.

What percentage of transection with manual punch compared to the motorized one according to you? If well used, does motorized punch produce scars similar to those of manual punch in your opinion?

The motorized is not as accurate as a manual punch. Attention in good hands with an experienced Dr. The rate of transections is also lower, everything goes with it.
Some Drs are very good with motorization but we can see no case or several interventions.
There are some but they are Spanish-style patient cases with a large donor area and thick hair.
You have to separate things.
African style rarely seen cases with a motorized punch, for example.

CITAZIONE (darros75 @ 30/3/2019, 00:42) What percentage of transection with manual punch compared to the motorized one according to you?

The manual punch between good hands is much less intrusive than the motorized even if in good hands, everyone knows it.
In terms of result, the motorized is well also.
Personally: manual helps to better preserve the donor area, and white dots less pronounced.
