The minimum delay of 15 days is perfectly explained: it corresponds to the duration (of ten days) at the end of which the grafts are firmly implanted to the scalp, plus a safety time interval.
To cut your hair before is therefore contraindicated.
If doctors recommend a delay longer than 15 days, it is not so much because the grafts are threatened to be dislodged because the scalp is healing and therefore fragile.
Therefore, avoid short or very short sections (both donor and recipient areas).
Any other cutting height does not pose a problem in itself since the act is performed carefully, which is valid for all hair, not just for those implanted.
Indeed, only the stems are cut, the inert part of the hair, while the living cells are at the root, in the dermis. A hair is not damaged because it is simply cut.
In these conditions, rather than distinguish the tool, chisel or mower, it is better to distinguish according to the cutting height and the cutting method.
If the mower is not recommended compared to scissors it is often considered that it involves a cut flush.
Otherwise, its use with a hoof does not cause more difficulties than a pair of scissors.
The passage of the hoof can irritate the scalp, but it is the same comb and gestures (involving traction to stiffen the stems and cut at the same level) that involve the use of scissors.

A 3 SETTIMANE

In attesa di mandare a Bola le foto ad un mese dal trapianto vi do qualche aggiornamento: la zona donatrice è abbastanza folta e recuperata , e sono stato proprio ieri ad un mese dal trapianto ad accorciare leggermente i capelli in donatrice in modo da uniformarli poiché avevo 2-3 lunghezze diverse in donor . La zona ricevente invece non l’ho toccata ed e’ ancora insensibile al tatto. La maggior parte delle graft sono cadute e credo che presto se ne andranno anche le altre. Sto usando shampo neutro della Mellis ed ho riniziato l’attivita fisica già da una settimana , come da accordi con il dottore. Sto prendendo Biotina+Cistina , MSM e Finasteride !!!
Non rimane che attendere !!! Appena posso mando foto ad un mese a Bola !!!

Direi che hai recuperato alla grande! La zona donatrice è già in ottimo stato ed ovviamente migliorerà ancora.
Certo che fare l'intervento a capello lungo aiuta molto nel post operatorio

Ciao Sebastian, devo dire che oktre la luce , ha aiutato molto fare la FUE a capello lungo che mi ha permesso di continuare a coprire la zona glabra con i capelli indigeni . Devo dire che adesso sono a due mesi e mezzo dal trapianto e sono nel periodo peggiore .... 😞😞 . -

spero proceda tutto bene... io sono a due mesi e non noto grossi cambiamenti, ho alcuni brufoli abbastanza grossi in ricevente, e devo dire di non aver ancora recuperato la sensibilità al tatto, tu come sei messo a sensibilità?
